current project: Waldeinsamkeit (for Toxic Yuri VN Jam 2)

Plot summary  The main character was kidnapped by vampires at a young age and forced to join their coven. Though blessed with powerful abilities and trusted for her strategic mind, she has never felt satisfied with this life. Her coven members, consumed by their lust for power, were always fighting, either with outside threats or each other. The protagonist only wants her own territory, where she can indulge her darkest instincts on her own terms. An opportunity comes when the coven's stronghold is ambushed by an alliance of werewolves and vampire hunters. The protagonist betrays her coven and escapes the ambush, eventually arriving at an abandoned church. Here, she finds the perfect place to enjoy her new "peace." 

CW: sexual content, violence, abusive/toxic relationship dynamics, implied child abuse (non-sexual). All characters are 20+. 

Love(?) interests 

1. Vampire: A lower-ranked member of the coven. Because of her calm nature and disinterest in power, the protagonist liked her more than the other coven members. She is the only one the protagonist saved from the ambush. This vampire has sworn eternal loyalty to her, but this may be tested as the protagonist reveals more of her sadism. 

2. Human: A former nun who was exiled for heresy and now lives in the abandoned church. She believes that vampires were made in the image of God, and humans are inferior copies of them. She offers the two surviving vampires shelter with her. She welcomes the main character's abuse, viewing it as forgiveness for her sins. 

3. Werewolf: A member of the werewolf-vampire hunter alliance. The protagonist captures her for the purpose of torturing her, but the werewolf doesn't appear afraid of her. She seems to know something the protagonist doesn't, acting overly familiar with her yet refusing to explain why. The protagonist feels both threatened and intrigued by her. 

4. Dhampir: Another member of the werewolf-vampire hunter alliance. She hesitates to use her vampire powers, preferring to use the same methods as her human allies. She is the only hunter to realize that two vampires escaped, and takes it upon herself to track them down. Her arrival at the church could spell impending doom for the protagonist —or corruption for the dhampir herself.
